Tara O'Sullivan was raised between Western Australia and Tasmaina. From a young age Tara annoyed her parents with regular spontaneous performances that would include the entire neighbourhood as audience members. Having no choice but to acknowledge that their youngest had a talent for performance they enrolled her in community drama/dance and modelling classes. John Curtin College Of The Arts was a natural choice for her high school years and she excelled in all things creative. During her teenage years Tara performed in a number of Musical Theatre Productions and appeared in commercials for both TV and radio.

Finishing High school Tara desperately wanted to see the world and travelled by herself to live in France. Tara worked in Europe for 4 years and had the pleasure of travelling the globe and working with celebrities such as Oprah Winfey and Steven Spielberg. In 2008 Tara was accepted with full Scholarship to the New York Conservatory Of Dramatic Art. Returning to Sydney in 2010, she continued her Training at NIDA where she completed the Screen Actors course along with private voice coaching, accent training and Presenting Training.

Tara's debut television performance was on Channel 7's Packed To The Rafters as Jezza. Tara is now performing at the NSW Art Gallery in a one woman children's show which will run throughout the remainder of the year. An ambassador for the Drug and Alcohol Network Tara frequently travels around Australia as a guest speaker and writes for the Youth website TuneIn NotOut.
