Millie Rose was born and raised in Sydney, and nurtured a passion for acting from a very young age. However, it wasn’t until after an eighteen month stint in London - where she was cast in leading roles in three short films – that she decided to make her passion her profession upon her return to Australia.
After six months of training at the Actor’s Centre (The Power of Performance) and NIDA (Acting for Camera), she auditioned for and was accepted into NIDA’s The Screen Actor in 2009, training under the tutelage of Nick Bishop and many of Australia’s leading film and television actors and directors. She also trained extensively under acting teacher and NIDA graduate Paul Barry through various master classes with Acting4Camera from 2008-2010.
She has been involved with various short film projects over the last two years, and 2009 saw her cast as the lead in several short film projects produced by International Film School Sydney, NIDA, Sydney Film School, Harvey House Productions and Kfilms. At the start of 2010 she was also cast in the starring role for another project by IFSS.
Most recently she stars alongside Asher Keddie and Rob Carlton in ABC mini-series Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo.
