He has seen a lot of life, perhaps more than he really wanted to see. He has loved and lost and loved again and travelled extensively with many visits over many years to the United States, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and New Zealand. He currently resides in Dublin, Ireland.
He had the great honour of receiving a national award, the Order of Australia in 2003. He is devoted to family and passionate about sports, politics and history – and acting.
From 2008 to 2009, he studied acting at Australia’s prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Arts where he developed his craft from respected NIDA graduates such as the wonderful actor/director Jennifer Hagen and the inspirational Paul Barry. In 2009, Don successfully auditioned for the role of ‘Dave – the police officer’ in the NIDA stage production, Remembering a day in December. He has performed on other stage productions and short student films. Don loves acting. Acting is something he simply has to do.
